The Church's Vision

"Dream Big" is our series to kick off 2025 at Fusion Christian Church where we look to set godly goals. In this message, Pastor Zac explains the vision of our church and the simple truth behind our mission statement: Love God, Love Others, Tell Everyone.

To fulfill a big vision, we must build on a godly foundation.

If God is not the cornerstone of the church, we may as well quit building. If God does not direct the building, the building will fail. We must continually work to ground our church in God and his word. With that said, what is the purpose of our church? Why do we exist as a church?

We exist to Love God.

The first and greatest commandment is to love God, and we can show our love for God in three major ways. First, by loving Christ the Son. Christ is the image of the invisible God, and if we do not love Christ, we do not love God. Second, we love God by loving and obeying his word. If we love God, we should love to read what he has written for us. To take it a step further: we should love to live out the commands he has given us as well. Third, we show our love for God by loving prayer. It does not make sense to say we love someone if we never speak to them. Prayer is our way to communicate with God, and if we love God then we should love prayer.

We exist to Love Others.

This is the second greatest commandment: to love your neighbor as yourself. At Fusion Christian Church, we believe that the duty of all Christians is to love other people. How can we love others? One of the best ways is by serving them. If we are willing to serve others and work for their good, we demonstrate our love for them. On a personal level, we can also show our love for others by expressing care and interest in them. Simply getting to know people is essential for knowing how to love them better.

We exist to Tell Everyone the good news about Jesus.

The most important way to love someone is to tell them the gospel. In fact, the most loving thing anyone can do for another is to tell them about Jesus Christ. Salvation is found in no other name than the name Jesus, and we, Christians, must share that name wherever we go. How can you share the gospel with those around you this year?
